XR Terra launches Introduction to XR to provide ground-level entry to aspiring XR professionals

The four-week intensive online program opens the door to students without any prior coding or design experience

BOSTON, MA, April 27, 2021 — Education and training provider XR Terra today announced the launch of its newest program, Introduction to XR. This entry-level online course helps students design an augmented reality application without any previous design or development experience.

Virtual reality and augmented reality technology (together known as XR or extended reality) are expected to contribute over $1.5 trillion dollars to global GDP in the next decade. XR Terra is committed to lowering the barriers to entry into this growing field by teaching XR fundamentals to anyone interested in learning them.

The first cohort will start on June 1st, 2021 and will include five hours of intense instruction from industry leaders each week. The class covers four weeks and culminates with the completion of a team augmented reality project that requires knowledge of key concepts of design and development while utilizing the Unity platform.
